Position Summary:
Promote the club’s dining facilities for private banquets and social meetings or other member-related activities. Develop contracts for and oversees all administrative and operational aspects of preparing and serving mid-to-large-size events. Works with banquet and other departments to assure that members’ and guests’ expectations are exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and book mid-to-large-size events, including menu planning, with the Executive Chef and enter menus and events in NorthStar.
  • Create, finalize, and distribute BEOs, floor plans, and weekly function sheets.
  • Confirm event details daily; manage changes and communicate across departments.
  • Secure deposit and coordinate invoicing, billing, and credit card payments.
  • Facilitate guest tours and promote club facilities.
  • Manage recurring group bookings, athletic classes, and committee meetings.
  • Support banquet manager and Catering Director with last-minute event requests as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree (preferred).
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and hospitality service.
  • Good writing and verbal skills.
  • Requires problem solving and judgement, alertness, and strong attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, F&B software background (preferred).
  • Food and beverage experience (preferred).
  • Hospitality experience (preferred).
  • TB test and Gray liquor card.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt position requiring a commitment of 40 or more hours per week. The role requires flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours as necessary to meet operational demands and ensure exceptional member and guest experiences.

  • In office and in outlets throughout the Club.

Mental and Physical Demands:
  • 32-40 hours per week, including some holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to open wine bottles.
  • Standing on feet for up to 8 hours.
  • Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
