The Pacific Club is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant to join our Facilities team. This full-time position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and comfort of our private club while supporting laundry and linen operations. This position primarily serves as a daytime housekeeper and is cross trained in laundry operations to provide coverage for vacations, absences, and operational needs within Housekeeping and Laundry services.

We are looking for someone who is professional, punctual, speaks well with members and staff, enjoys working independently, and is comfortable interacting with members and guests in a courteous manner. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may include weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on operational needs.

What You'll Do:

Housekeeping Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize men's locker rooms, men's restrooms, and public areas.
Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the Club.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and spot-clean floors and surfaces.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and towels.
Empty trash and recycling containers.
Complete special cleaning projects as assigned.
Provide excellent service to members, guests, and coworkers.

Laundry Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and distribute linens and uniforms.
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Fold, organize, and store clean linens and uniforms.
Maintain laundry storage and work areas.
Monitor laundry supply inventory.
Report equipment issues and supply shortages promptly.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively with members and staff.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Professional and respectful demeanor.

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or laundry experience (preferred).
Experience in a hotel, resort, private club, hospitality, or similar customer-service environment (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Work in laundry and housekeeping environments with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
